BLOG 3 - My dream job
As a child, I imagined myself doing multiple different jobs, some of them are impossible, like being a superhero. But as I grew up, my preferences changed and I liked jobs related to science. I was curious about the origin of everything. One of my dream jobs before I started this career was to be a musician. Actually, I keep this as a hobby.
Personally, I would like a job in which I feel comfortable and satisfied. I want to feel that I am complete and this job would be enough to maintain myself everyday. A job like this would be ideal for me.
Now, I am in my second year studying architecture. I would like to travel often doing my job. As a goal, it could be interesting to have the chance to leave my mark in different countries if I work in them.
It is public knowledge that architects have a great salary, but I think that depends on the case of each person. Although, I hope to be on the side of the ones who have a good pay so I will not be worried about money.
A curious thing about my profession is that I could work indoors as outdoors. Besides I will spend a lot of time working with my computer, I will have to get involved with my surroundings because it is also an important part of my job.
It seems very good to me that you seek to leave your mark as an architect, contributing even with "a grain of sand". If you have the possibility of going to work abroad, you would leave a great contribution, especially in the social field, since the University of Chile is characterized by its social architecture, in order to help people.
